Awareness

The Down Syndrome Association of Atlanta (DSAA) wants to educate the public about the potential of individuals with Down syndrome.  DSAA is committed to helping disseminate information from the National Down Syndrome Congress's "We're More Alike Than Different" campaign.  DSAA believes that a successful strategy for awareness is to hold events in community settings, where the public can observe families and children interacting.  In 2009 DSAA started holding Down Syndrome Awareness Nights at local restaurents.
