ConferencesThe Down Syndrome Association of Atlanta sponsors conferences featuring speakers and information related to Down syndrome as well as New Parent Seminars for the parents of babies with Down syndrome. New Parent Seminars are by invitation to new members and are held periodically. Other conferences are held at various times and are open to anyone interested in Down syndrome. For information about upcoming conferences, go to News And Major Events on our home page. The spring 2011 conference is May 12th. It is a Wrightslaw training program featuring Pete Wright, Esq. and is being cosponsored by the Down Syndrome Association of Atlanta and the Young Lawyers Division of the State Bar of Georgia Advocates for Students with Disabilities Committee. |
