The Down Syndrome Association of Atlanta (DSAA) works with the National Down Syndrome Congress (NDSC) and the National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS) to stay informed about issues at the national level.  DSAA members are encouraged to get on the email list for these organizations.

Health care reform is a "hot" issue at this time.  It is important that advocates stay informed regarding different proposals for health care reform and how they will impact individuals with disabilities.  Both national Down syndrome organizations are carefully monitoring these issues.
